Taylor Lautner habla sobre lo que le atrae de una chica.

Taylor Lautner puede que sea extremadamente guapo, pero no tiene que ser una chica 10 que sea perfecta para atraerle. ¿Por qué? Porque una gran personalidad es tanto (o más) importante que el ser atractiva para el protagonista de Eclipse. “[El personaje de la Saga Crepúsculo, Bella Swan] es este tipo de chica, que algunas veces – lo se por mi mismo – es atractiva,” cuenta Lautner, de 18 años, a la revista británica Now Magazine . Añade que “Bella es el promedio de chica, es torpe, pero creo que es guapa. Ella tiene ese algo especial, y Kristen Stewart lo interpreta genial.”
Este es una gran declaración de Taylor, quien es adorado por millones de fans por sus asombrosos abdominales y su atractivo atlético, especialmente desde que trabaja en una industria obsesionada con la perfección física.
Efectivamente, Lautner fue nombrado en la lista de “Mejor Cuerpo del Verano” de la revista Men’s Health, la cual tiene a la cabeza a su compañero de reparto en la Saga Crepúsculo, Kellan Lutz.
Taylor también fue escogido para siete nominaciones individuales en los Teen Choice Awards 2010, incluyendo “Elección a la Estrella de la película del verano”, igual que Robert Pattinson. Taylor, quien conduce una moto, está sin camiseta y tiene escenas de emocionante lucha en su inminente thriller, Abduction, que recientemente causó conmoción en el set de la película en Pittsburg, Pa., cuando alrededor de 100 fans femeninas se presentaron a echar un vistazo al chico sensación de Crepúsculo. Cuando Lautner se acercó al grupo para firmar autógrafos, fervientes fans fueron incapaces de controlar sus emociones, chillando y saltando.
Mientras tanto, Lautner ha seguido manteniendo su espectacular figura musculosa entrenandose físicamente para poder interpretar al fornido hombre lobo Jacob Black en la Saga Crepúsculo. Aunque Taylor come cada dos horas y entrena cinco dias a la semana, dice que descansar también es muy importante en su programa de entrenamiento.
Entrenar y comer son tan solo dos de las ecuaciones a la hora de construir sus músculos. “El tercero es la recuperación”, dice. Lautner se toma de total descanso cada tercer día y nunca entrena más de 5 días a la semana. “Si pierdes peso constantemente, tus músculos no tendrán tiempo para reconstruirse”.
A finales de este año, Lautner comenzará a rodar Amanecer, la cuarta película de la Saga Crepúsculo. Amanecer será partida en dos películas, la primera parte prevista para noviembre de 2011.

Taylor Lautner Talks About What Attracts Him To A Girl

Taylor Lautner may be ripped and gorgeous, but a girl doesn’t have to be a Perfect 10 to attract him. Why? Because a great personality is just as (or more) important to the Twilight: Eclipse hunk as sexy good looks. “[Twilight character Bella Swan] is just this plain girl, which sometimes – I know for me – is attractive,” Lautner, 18, tells UK’s Now magazine. He adds, “Bella’s just an average girl, she’s clumsy, but I think she’s good-looking. She just has this thing about her, and Kristen Stewart plays her so well.”

That’s a refreshing statement from Taylor, who’s adored by millions of fans for his rippling six-pack and athletic good looks, especially since he works in an industry obsessed with physical perfection.

Indeed, Lautner was just named to Men’s Health magazine’s ‘Best Summer Body’ list, which was topped by Twilight co-star Kellan Lutz.

Taylor also nabbed seven individual nominations for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Summer Movie Star, along with Robert Pattinson. (The Teen Choice Awards, which will be hosted by Katy Perry, will air live on Fox Aug. 9.)

Taylor, who rides a motorcycle, is shirtless and has super-slick fight scenes in the upcoming thriller Abduction, recently caused a commotion on the film’s Pittsburgh, Pa., set, when over 100 female fans showed up to catch a glimpse of the Twilight sensation. When Lautner approached the crowd to sign autographs, lovesick fans were unable to control their emotions, shrieking and jumping up and down.

Meanwhile, Lautner has been keeping up his intense muscle-building workouts to maintain the buff physique he needs to play hulking werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight saga. While Taylor eats every two hours and works out five days a week, he says resting is just as important to his fitness program.

Training and eating are only two-thirds of the muscle-building equation. “The other third is recovery,” he says. Lautner takes every third day off and never works out more than 5 days a week. “If you constantly pound your muscles, they’ll never have time to repair.”

Later this year, Taylor will begin shooting Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment in the Twilight saga. Breaking Dawn will be broken up into two separate films, with Part 1 due out in November 2011.
